WAChat is a free widget generator by Waani. The generator processes the number, business details and messages you enter in your browser. It does not submit those fields to a WAChat database or require an account.
Your generated code includes the business number and messages. Anyone who can view your website can inspect them. Use only a public business contact number and do not put secrets or customer information in the code.
Standalone embeds make no WAChat script request. Hosted embeds request widget.js from tools.getwaani.com. Hosting providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser headers. The generator page also requests fonts from Google Fonts.
The widget opens WhatsApp with the destination number and composed message when a visitor chooses to start a chat. WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply. Visitors complete sending in WhatsApp.
This site (the generator and guides) uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser, so we can see which pages bring visitors. It never receives the number, business details or messages you type into the generator. The widget code you copy contains no analytics. Optional Waani links contain campaign labels, not the number or messages entered in the generator. If you follow them or contact Waani, the receiving site's privacy policy applies.
For privacy questions, use the contact option on Waani. Site owners are responsible for explaining their own data handling and obtaining any required consent.
